Their Mission

The mission of the Regional Volunteer Centre in Kielce is to inspire and encourage active citizenship and volunteering for the development of civil society.

The Centre focus includes three pillars: Volunteering, Station: Youth and International Mobilities.

Volunteer Work Exchange Office is the Centre’s main activity when it comes to local actions. We promote volunteering, train and support volunteers. Our volunteers work for non-governmental organizations, cultural organizations, public administration, schools, kindergartens, during sports events, festivals, charity actions, sports events, and as a support for the elderly and people with disabilities in their daily life. We also prepare courses and workshops for organizations leaders and coordinators to prepare them to engage volunteers in their activities. We work with everyone who wants to become a volunteer.
What is more – we work with international volunteers, hosting currently 30 ESC long termin volunteers. Most of them work in schools, youth centres and cultural institutions.

Station: Youth is a space for young people to get new skills, support in their social actions as well as a place where young people can attend many workshops run mostly by the ESC volunteers. RCW is also an Eurodesk information point.
